Direct connection for solar panels

Solar panels are connected directly to the system. Supporting up to 5,000 W of solar input, the STREAM 5000 provides a powerful foundation for households looking to make better use of their own energy. Thanks to four independent MPPT inputs, solar panels can be managed efficiently, even when different roof orientations or roof sections are used.

Expands into a complete energy system

The STREAM 5000 is part of the EcoFlow STREAM ecosystem. Start with 5 kWh of storage capacity and expand the system over time to up to 90 kWh of storage, 18 kW of continuous output power, and three independently managed circuits.

Thanks to its modular design, STREAM 3000 and STREAM 5000 batteries can be freely combined. This makes it possible to create storage capacities that match your energy consumption, from compact setups to comprehensive energy systems.

Smart energy management and powerful performance

When combined with the EcoFlow Smart Meter, the system gains real-time insight into energy generation, consumption, and grid export. Based on this data, the battery automatically determines when energy should be stored or used. This helps you make better use of your own solar energy while allowing the system to respond intelligently to dynamic electricity tariffs.

The integrated bidirectional inverter supports up to 3,000 W of charging and discharging power. By default, the STREAM 5000 supplies up to 800 W through a standard wall outlet. When connected to a dedicated circuit, output power increases to 2,500 W.* This allows a larger share of stored energy to be used directly within the home.

Compact design

Despite combining battery storage, solar panel connections, and integrated power electronics, the STREAM 5000 remains remarkably compact. According to EcoFlow, the system requires up to 40% less floor space than many comparable solutions. This makes installation in a utility room, technical room, or attic straightforward.

Through the EcoFlow app, you can monitor energy generation, battery status, consumption, and grid usage. The system also supports multiple energy modes for automatic optimization of generation, storage, and consumption. Thanks to Local Mode, the system remains locally controllable even when the internet connection is temporarily unavailable.
