The WLR 60.140 from the MPPT series features a new LCD display, on which you can read numerous information and measured values clearly. Precise data, e.g. on battery charge status or load current, give you an up-to-date overview at all times. You can check the system at any time and correct the settings if necessary.
The current is displayed in real time and a statistical function lets you view the total yield. The innovative MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology ensures that the varying voltage of the solar panels is converted into a constant voltage to charge the battery.
This charge controller charges all common battery types. Lead-acid, AGM, gel (12/24/36/48V) and lithium only for 24V system. The low-voltage protection protects the battery from dangerous deep discharge. The intelligent automatic load decoupling switches off connected loads when the battery reaches a critical state of charge.
WATTSTUNDE's new WLR MPPT series works according to the principle of Maximum Power Point Tracking. The controller determines the optimum operating point of the solar panels several times a second. This allows the charge controller to convert the excess voltage of the solar panels into an increased charge current for the battery. This increase in charge current ensures shorter charging time and the best possible power output for the system.
The system voltage (12, 24, 36 or 48 V) is automatically detected. Thanks to the external temperature sensor, the charging voltage can be automatically adjusted to the ambient temperature. An overload and overcharging protection as well as a solar panel countercurrent protection offers your entire system the necessary safety.
