Xtorm AirWave Wireless Audio Adapter

With the Xtorm AirWave Wireless Audio Adapter you can turn any 3.5 mm audio output into a wireless connection in an instant. On a plane, in the car, on the train or at the gym: simply plug the compact adapter into the audio port and pair your own Bluetooth earbuds or headphones. This way you can listen in comfort, with the sound quality you’re used to, without the hassle of cables.

Standard airline earphones often don’t fit well and sound flat. With the AirWave you simply use your own headphones or earbuds and enjoy clear dialogue, podcasts and music in high audio quality. Thanks to Bluetooth you no longer have to deal with dangling or too-short cables, and you can use your headphone’s noise cancelling to reduce surrounding noise.

You can also pair two wireless headphones or earbuds at the same time. Ideal when you want to watch the same movie together on a flight or listen to the same playlist while travelling. The wireless range is up to around 10 metres, so you don’t have to stay right next to the audio source.

The built-in battery lasts for up to about 9 hours on a single charge, which is enough for a long-haul flight or several gym sessions. You recharge it via USB-C with up to 5 W; in roughly 2 hours the adapter is ready to go again. Weighing just 17 grams, it’s almost weightless and slips easily into your jacket pocket, hand luggage or pencil case.

In addition to the standard transmit mode (TX), which sends audio wirelessly to your earbuds, the AirWave also has a receive mode (RX). In this mode you can use it as a Bluetooth receiver, for example to make a speaker with a 3.5 mm input wireless.
