DC output: 1200 WThe BLUETTI Charger 2 (1200W Alternator & Solar Dual DC Charger) is a DC DC charger for anyone who wants fast, efficient charging on the road. Instead of the limited charging speed of a standard 12V socket, the Charger 2 uses power from your vehicle battery/alternator and can also take input from solar panels. This keeps your portable power station topped up more easily while driving and lets you continue charging on site with solar power or as part of a connected BLUETTI setup. The Charger 2 is designed for 12V and 24V vehicle systems and works with BLUETTI power stations.
Using it is simple: connect the Charger 2 to the starter battery and link your power station. The charger automatically distributes the available power and delivers up to 1200 W to your power station. With the BLUETTI app, you can monitor charging in real time and adjust settings, so you always have a clear view of the energy flow. If you combine the alternator with solar panels (or a compatible battery pack), the total input can reach up to 1400 W input in a suitable setup, while the charging output to your power station remains a maximum of 1200 W.
In addition to faster charging, the Charger 2 focuses on control and protection. It includes extensive safety features (such as reverse polarity, overcurrent, short circuit, and over and undervoltage protection) and is designed to operate reliably in vehicles, including start stop systems and smart alternators via the D+ signal connection.
An additional feature is Reverse Charging. With a connected BLUETTI power station or expansion battery, you can top up the starter battery in an emergency to get the vehicle started, or maintain it (trickle charge / pulse maintenance). This only works when a BLUETTI power station or expansion battery is connected. Compatible models: B230, B300, B300K, B500K, AC200MAX, AC200P L, and Apex 300.
If you use fixed DC loads in a campervan or bus, you can combine the Charger 2 with Hub D1. This lets you connect 12V/24V loads such as a fridge, lighting, or a pump in a neat and organized way. Hub D1 supports up to 12V/50A and up to 700 W DC output.
